The 32 stone layout was inspired by the response of our wonderful student body following the tragic events of April 16, 2007. Once considered a temporary memorial to serve until the building of a larger memorial, this is now the university’s permanent memorial. It was constructed of locally made materials, much of it donated by friends and alumni.
